Microscopy and Biodiversity

The event, organized by the Italian Society of Microscopic Sciences, with the support of the Department of Biomolecular Sciences of the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, is dedicated to professionals, teachers, researchers, technicians and students working in the field of study and conservation of biodiversity. The Workshop will focus on the application of different optical and electron microscopy techniques in this sector. Various aspects of plant, animal and unicellular organisms biodiversity, examined through different microscopic techniques, will be illustrated by specialist scholars. In addition to lectures, practical exercises will be held in the laboratories of the Scientific Campus and there will be a space dedicated to companies. Finally, there will be a poster session that will be exhibited for the entire duration of the workshop.
